I'm sorry you're having a bad day. I'd give a hug if I could. I have to admit something now to try to make you feel better. I really like burnt things like your shortbread. In fact, that looks perfectly done to me .. not quite black but almost there. Yes, it's perfect! :) of course, I don't burn my things on purpose, but I know that if I do happen to ... it will be savored by ME and ME only!
Since I'm not there to savor it, throw it out for the birds. They will love you for it.

I had a big pile of Christmas cards on my desk the other day and yours was among them..... I knew that it needed two stamps instead of one and I never gave it another thought.. I put stamps on that pile and put them in the box!!!!! Your card went out with one stamp.... I am guessing it will come back to me or go to never never land!

BUT your card looked just like the headed on my blog...... sooooooo I wish you a Merry Christmas.... and a New Year filled with the joys that only Jesus can bring....
