Stars and more stars.....

I've been quilting up a storm, well maybe not a storm exactly but a few stars! This is my block a month from last year, Star Struck. My Teacher and fearless leader is Sandra from Elkstone Studio. She is a wonderful instructor and so patient and very inspiring! She does all my longarming and what a beautiful job she does! You can find Elkstone Studios on Facebook.

Here is my little mini quilt, I'm starting out small for the FMQ.....

My Hexi Garden, all in batiks...

Here is the wedding quilt for my granddaughter....... everyone can sign this quilt, it will be on the guest table...........

Didn't Sandra do a wonderful job on the quilting!!! It was a lot of work piecing all these stars, but I think stars are still my favourite blocks to make!

Absolutely beautiful!
What a gorgeous wedding gift for the young couple. Long after the toaster has broken, the dishes have chipped... your quilt will last for decades holding memories along the way.
Bravo Margaret.

Your quilts are so beautiful. I love them all. Especially the one you are giving to your grand daughter.

Hello my blogger friend.. it is so good to visit with you... I have finally made the decision to move away from FB and back to the blog... I really am tired of FB and remember all the fun years in the blog.. Your quilting in beautiful. I have finished two and on my third one. I am not very good at it but it is in the gift where the treasure lies and not in perfection. I will be here often and I hope to post something later tonight to renew my blog.. Have a blessed Sunday........
