More of the Got Milk Workshop, hosted by Applebox Boutique..........
Thank you to our instructor, Jennylyn Pringle... President of Homestead House. They are the makers of Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint. She's a hands on teacher with a positively sunny smile and a wealth of information about techniques for using this wonderful paint.
Tiny treasures of little testers....this small amount painted our shelves!
The dark secret of the painting the base color.....this is what shows when you start sanding......

Another layer of color......Waiting for the paint to dry, good time for reading one of many inspirational books around the shop....
Crackled and chippy......by just rubbing with oil and a slight sanding...... I know, easy peasy!
So many beautiful colors to choose from........
Leanne and her daughter .........
Fabulous colors!
My finished shelf......ta da!!

Wow! So cool! Love the colors. Looks like a fun time!
These are just the right colors - not too bright, not too startling.
I was thinking about the (was it utensil carriers??) that you made and gave for Christmas a couple years back? Colors would be perfect on them.
Thanks for your nice comments Mags. Blessings, Diane
WOW! Those look great! I think I'll read up on this process and try it. Too pretty!
It nice to see milk paint back in fashion. I remember using a lot of it in the 80's when wedgewood blue was hot!
Happy New Year Margaret.
