Lemon...honey...better......

Have a cough that is trying to remove your lungs? Maybe a cup of lemony goodness will help......

Meyer lemons are sweet and a bit sour, but if you add some honey........ahhhh, so soothing.

Of course you need a favourite teacup.....something pretty and lemon like......mmmm.....

Feeling better already? Joining Terri for Teacup Tuesday.
Check out her blog, "Artful Affirmations" for more loveliness and feel better soon.

A lovely teacup, wonderful photos and a no fail recipe for a cough. I had "it" in Dec and went through loads of lemon and honey! So soothing and it works!

Hello Margaret,
Yay! I love your post! You are so right about the lemon and honey. This was the go to medicine of my childhood (...with a little whiskey to suppress coughs....*hic*). Lol!!!
No kidding. I don't think I could give my kids the whiskey, but I have often given them honey and lemon. Full of vitamin C and antibiotic (the honey). Great combo.
Your tea cup is very lovely! The color scheme is fab, I adore the yellow accents on it as well as the shape of the cup and plate.
Who is the maker? Do you know?

Thank you so much for joining in Tea Cup Tuesday!
Hugs,
Terri

This just looks yummy even if you don't have a cough, especially in that lovely cup. Beautiful photos, Mags.

Hello Margaret, my fellow Canadian blogger. I'm visiting from tea cup Tuesday. My grandmother used to always swear by lemon and honey for colds. I still make it for myself. Oh, that reminds me, I was at Sudeley Castle near where I live in England and ordered tea. When the milk curdled in the hot tea they brought me a fresh cup and some lemon slices. I forgot how good tea with lemon is. That's a lovely little cup. I also have a little collection of the pretty little things. :)
