Better than a Spa....

Yes, it was better than a spa retreat......a class with Sue Spargo. She is just delightful, so incredibly talented, very patient and a wonderful instructor. I felt the stress and tension fade away as I stitched.......unfortunately, I was still a wee bit ill and when I looked down it made me a bit nauseated, so I had to take little breaks and visit with the other gals and watch Sue expertly stitch up an array of embellishments.....while we stood in awe!

There was laughter, stitching, concentration, ooohs and ahhhhs, more laughter.....even some knitting socks during the breaks......these girls know how to multi task! What fun!!!

It didn't matter what colors you chose, they looked absolutely fabulous!!!!
Thank you to our hostess Deirdre from Out of Hand in Calgary.
Thank you Sue, it was fantastic!!!

your class with Sue looked wonderful, all of the colors have my creative muses squawking at me to grab my needle and thread!

Hey!!!!!!!!!!! How much fun was THAT.. I wish myself among you. We have NOTHING like that here in Podunk USA... I love the small town we live in but you have to give up things like that.....

I hope you get to feeling better and finding your mojo..... I thought I had lost mine but it seems to be coming alive again...

I love the colors your are thinking for your house...... I will take a picture of mine today when the sun is out and show you what we chose for ours... it is all sagie-tan... if that is a word? The shutters and doors will be dark hunter green when we get them painted... I LOVE it....

As for finding raw food, well we only have Wal-Mart and they are very limited here.. Our biggest selling item at this Wal-Mart is DOG FOOD... does that just reek of Red Neck to you? Most people around here would play ball with a fresh coconut instead of cracking it and Lord only knows what they would do with a fresh Papaya!

This morning we are driving 20 minutes to another Wal-mart in a town near us to buy some produce. They have a few more things than ours.

Tomorrow I start a juice fast till the day before Thanksgiving.. I signed up for it on FB..I have read so much about juicing that I could write a book so now need to incorporate it into my diet..... YES the weight will come off if I am faithful... that seems to be the problem. Depression squashes the mojo and the passion for life is in the mojo so being that I am an emotional food junkie, depression draws me to all that is not good for me....... Sooooooo finding all my mojo is so needed....

Hope you begin to feel better and your mojo comes out of hiding.... If I were closer we would go seek and find our mojo's together...... ;) I sooooooo wish we were closer...... we would have a good time I know it!

Sending Southern hugs from Central Oklahoma USA...... (maybe one day me and my sweet will take a driving tour and come to Canada)

this sounds like so much fun. There is a quilt shop 45 minutes away from me. She also gives classes. I have been there, buying fabrics, and watching the ladies.
What a nice way to create something amongst like-minded people.
Hope you are doing MUCH better!!!!
Hugs, Evi
