A little bit of this and that.....

Spring cleaning and changing up the living room, I would love to paint....not sure if I want white walls or charcoal or soft gray...... I love the new bookcase.....and I am so glad to have my collectables behind glass. Not as much dusting needed, which in my little house is an issue......where does it come from?
A bit of rearranging.....
Cleaned and dusted......
I just got this gorgeous jar......what do I put inside.....anyone....ideas?
Okay, back to my cleaning, up next.....a surprise!

Fab bookcase! I would love to have one like that for my treasures! I spotted one very similiar to that at the Paris Flea a couple of weeks ago but it was sold :(

LOVE the apothecary jar! You can put wooden spools, corks, lace, small pinecones . . . limitless imagination!

Happy Weekend!!

Everything looks so beautiful!

Some light grey colored Spanish Moss would look beautiful in that jar with some white spheres with your initials on the spheres!

Oh I love your new bookcase! I'm the same way -- keep everything behind glass to avoid dust. lol!

I love the bookcase. Glass makes life so much easier :)

I have recently done a lot of painting and updating and have moved to the lighter earthtone colors and of course a little bit of yellow. Who would have ever thought I would move to brighter and simplifying things. Certainly not me!

Good luck with what ever you decide. Love the jar.

Oh, nice and clean!!!
I've been shining today too.
As for that great jar, I can only see CANDY :)

BBQ...a pit of smoking embers...some pork and some salt :) sloooowly cook as long as possible and shred :)
the sauce each person puts on ...vinegar based...I think...thin, not ketchupy.

I bought one of those beautiful jars too! LOVE the shape. I put my 140 Frozen Charlottes in there & Hubby HATES it! He says they look like dead dolls... So, I guess I better not give advise. ENJOY it! HUGS!

Hi Margaret,

I love your sweet cabinet. I have the same dilemma about what colour to paint my lounge which I am hoping to do soon. I love your apothecary jar and you could keep lace or small soaps in the bathroom.
Good luck with the colour of your living room and the spring cleaning.

Happy weekend

Isn't it funny how spring always makes us want everything spic and span? More light in the house, perhaps? :)
Difficult decision with colors...pale grey can be so elegant.
And I love your jar. Old buttons? Pretty candies? Small soaps? I'd put shells in, of course!
Was fun to stop by, Margaret. I haven't been by for a while...I'll make certain to be back soon.

WOW so beautiful Margaret! I SO MISS YOU too!!!!!!! I'm so sorry that this is taking so long... but hope I will be happy in the end!
Your cabinet is lovely, and I like the fact that your collections are in there. I must think of something similar when I'll have a new home... I have so many beautiful things I want to see everyday (among them, all your gorgeous gifts!!!!) and don't want them to get dirty.
Hugs for now,
