I think that the amarylis is really shouting Christmas! I have a bouquet of those guys in white combined with eucalyptus, love those too! I am making presents for my bff's birthdayparty this afternoon. We had an awful lot of snow, hope I can make it there! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!

Ahhhhh, Margaret....I am now on my TWO WEEK VACATION from school and I hope to be:

1. taking naps
2. reading French novels
3. enjoying watching the builders continue our two-room addition
4. blog.

Our Christmas is very simple...just us, no children and with our families spread all over from New England, New Jersey and New York to California. But visits with my blogger friends make the season so special, and I wish you the happiest Christmas ever dear one!! GROSSES BISES, Anita

Hi Magaret B, Merry Christmas to you and your family. I love your amaryllis. My mother-in-law loved the poinsettan and amayllis that she would receive for the holidays. We got our first snow of the winter late yesterday afternoon. People did not slow down and needless to say we had accidents. We babysit the boys. Our family said it took them about a hour to come home because they had to find ways to get around the accidents. Your baking always looks so yummy. I am getting ready for a late Breakfast and then finish the Christmast cards. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend

Flowers do make us smile I always figured it was a special gift from Heaven for us to enjoy.
I am playing catch up on here and then I have to figure out how to wrap my presents before the day is over because next week is going to be so busy. My brother has his radiation and chemo treatments every day now until the end of Jan so busy busy. Thanks for the pretty pictures
Merry Christmas honey
