It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.......

Starting with my new tray from the Dutchman, some silver mercury glass and a couple of dolls... (Jodie's silverware, he he, someday I may actually give it to her!!!)......
Frosty's hat and an angel.....
I love, love bottle brush trees...anyone know where to get the matching wreaths?
Santa in vintage white, holding one of my tiny bears (the little ones are sewn all by hand) and his Christmas goose....

Gingerbread men and my favourite white pitcher......
Have you started to decorate, what's your favourite theme or colours?

Your decorations are so lovely Margaret! We'll start this weekend. I have that silver acorn too, and I'm using it as decoration since autumn, to make the transition to Christmas decoration less obvious! Thanks for inspiration and have a great weekend!

I love your style. It looks so lovely. I found some white bottle brush wreaths last year at a store called Big Lots. I have no idea if they have them this year - and I don't know if you have them in your neck of the woods. If I see any, I'll let you know!

Margaret!!!! I LOVE WHAT THE DUTCHMAN MADE YOU! And all the lovelies on top...so PERFECT! My favorite colors this year are creamy white and turquoise and I am having fun decorating even though my home is a bit "derangée" this year with the building going on! I have my little theatre all lit up and a small tree. HAVE FUNNNNN! Anita

It's beautiful Margaret! Your tray is lovely on your counter holding the decorations.
I love Santa and his tiny bear!
I bought a package of bottle brush wreaths at Micheals last year. All I had to do was bleach them. They were pretty tiny however.

Sara's Sweet Surprise said...

Hello Margaret~such lovely "creamy" decorations. I too adore bottle brushes, my guess it's because they bring back sweet memories from my childhood.

I'm finally getting around to decking the halls of my home.
we'll be cutting our Christmas tree from the backyard this weekend when my college boy is home. That's sure way to get us in a festive mood.
Do you like playing Christmas music while decorating? For me the music brings a wonderful scent of the season to the air, as does the aromas of baking.

It's good to be back, I hope you get a chance to stop by for a visit.

Sweet wishes,
Sara

Thanks so much for your visit! I'm thrilled that you are enjoying my books! It's so much fun for me to receive feedback from readers...that's why I write! Many thanks for sharing!
