A Few Ripe Tomatoes.....

Makes a day of fun in the kitchen......
Delicious with basil and garlic, slow roasted.....
Peeled, and turned into a rich pasta sauce....

Simmered all day, then packaged up for a cold winter's day....
Maybe one batch of spaghetti for dinner....

Add some homemade bread.......Sophia made birdies, Bella made bread.......
It was a good day!!!

I'm getting hungry reading your post! I love the colors especially today, here we have rain, rain, rain so grey, gray, gray! Your tomatoes splash off the screen.
What a lovely day you had!

Omigosh that looks delicious. I love freezing homemade tomato sauce and homemade chicken stock for whenever I need it (which seems to be often!).

You make me hungry with the spagetti and the homemade bread especially right out of the oven. Put a little garlic butter on it and you have a meal. Homemade always makes it taste better. Hope you are feeling better. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.
