Strawberries..... and pin keeps...

Strawberries and pin keeps, two of my favourite things..... I having been trying some new ideas and loving how the pink velvet looks as a strawberry..... I may have to make some more.

She looks so adorable in the scissor cupboard.....
What are you up to these days? Everyone seems to be away in the garden or on holidays....
I love the summer sounds and smells.... the grass after it's mowed and the laughter of children out playing. I can hear the birds singing and feel the gentle breeze.......

Good Morning Margaret Sweetie...
Oh my what a beauty you have made. I love it. This strawberry is the most elegant thing I have ever seen. Just absolutely scrumptous. The laces and pins are just the perfect addition, and I adore the little stand you have connected it to. Looks so old fashioned. An aged strawberry, yummy my favorite.

Your little lady is also beautiful. Her little pincushion plump body just fits her to a T.

I am clapping for you sweetie. Can you hear me? Job well done. So beautiful.

Thanks for sharing this morning. Country hugs and much love sweetie, Sherry

Just adorable, Margaret! I had seen those big strawberries, and wanted to try one too! Yours is truly amazing! Love the tiny pinkeep with dollie head...
Yes, it looks like no one is home... I'm working even harder than before, no holidays for me on the horizon, even if I'd REALLY need one!

I'm not in the garden because we are having horrible weather around here but I'm really glad I visited your blog today because that pink velvet is just 2 DIE 4!!!! Love your creations!!!!!

Hi Margaret, I love them. I really love the pink strawberry. I have on my blog what I have been doing lately. The weather turned out to be really great a couple of weeks ago and we got to see our grandson show his horse. I don't tolerate the heat to well at times. I would sooner hibernate. It wouldn't be so bad if we could just get rid of the humidity. You take care. Your Missouri Friend.

Hi Margaret,

I love these sweet pin cushions, and yes, the pink is a lovely shade.
Glad that you are enjoying the smells and sounds of summer ~ it is such a wonderful time.
We have an overcast day here, and I should really be doing something around the home instead of sitting at the computer.

Have a happy week

Margaret, I love the pinkeeps!
We must have been separated at birth, because I am working on two make-dos or pincushions.
One is on that wooden candle holder, or whatever it is and another on a pewter dish.
I just love the pink velvet and all the detailing.
Laura is coming by on Friday now, not today. I will get to meet Honey Bear and a handmade little pillow!
Thank you very much,
have fun creating,
hugs, Evi
PS. We are dying in this heat!!!
Thank God for the pool and air conditioning in the studio.

Hello Margaret~they're sooo sweet and such a lovely shade of pink. I found some deep red velvet that I've been toying with ideas of a strawberry sachet or pin keep with a few beaded pins. Now that the lavender is in bloom it would be the perfect scent for sachets.

The last of our summer visitors have left and now I've got soo many things I'd love to work on....then again I'd just like to sit on the deck and bird watch with my hubby.
It does look like our fellow blogettes are off on extended vacations making it a bit quiet.
I hope to squeeze in a weekend trip to the coast for a little R&R.

Where will the summer breeze be taking you?

Sweet wishes,

Lynn said...
