More strawberries and some gifts.....

Another strawberry, this one is full of emery sand to keep my needles sharp. It is also a scissor fob....
I am loving this pattern from Blackbird Designs....... don't look too close, I am not the world's best cross stitcher. At least I try! The shades of pink are so pretty, that could be why I am making pink strawberries lately!! I think it needs to be tea dyed a bit more....looks almost white in the photo.

My new, old bread tin from my SIL.... isn't it lovely? She spots the best deals and know where to find good things!!! Thanks Donna! It even holds to loaves of bread..... I love it!
Look what came in the post! My pin doll swaps from Cindy over at Thimbleprims Studio!!!
Thank you Cindy, they are so sweet!

I love that big fat strawberry. Now, I know why they put that stuff inside the pin cushion. I found a vintage one and it was harder than a brick. Now I know it's to keep the pins sharp!

I love your bread keeper too.

Those little dolls are so sweet.

Lots of pretties.

I tried to leave you a message earlier, but all I got was an error message. It makes me irriated when I get my post done and then it won't let me do it. Oh well, I love your strawberries that your are making. Your cross stitching looks just fine. It is all the love that is put into it that is the most important and that my friend You do. I liked the dolls and your bread box. Have a wonderful day. Your Missouri friend.

Hello Margaret.. It has been such a long time since I stopped by. Life has been so painful for the past few weeks for me and before losing my Dad he was very ill.. I love your strawberry and I would love to find one like it... I have in the past bought cross stitch patterns but they are still in the drawer.. It is just not my thing..... Yours is lovely......

Have a wonderful week and I will try to get over here more often...

Wonderful gifts you received, Margaret. I'm still loving that strawberry! You've reminded me I need to pull out a Winnie the Pooh cross-stitch sampler that I will need to fill in the name and date of birth for my soon-to-be granddaughter. It's only a couple of more weeks, so I better have everything at hand for that! I love your French design. I wish I could get back into the cross-stitch. {I even still have a kit or two floating around unopened}!

Dear Margaret, I love your French influence today in the post. How precious that strawberry is, and the cross stitch is one I adore! I just may have to order that one myself. It's been years since I've cross stitched, but this just might get me inspired! :) I always love coming to visit you Margaret~ You be blessed today, as it's a GREAT day~ :) ~CC Catherine, your friend who loves ANYTHING Francois! The little hand made items that your friend sent you (dolls) are precious!

Margaret, where do you find the time to make these wonderful things! I know you also work outside the home. I love the new strawberry, it even has a little glitz! The embroidery is charming.
Boy, wie think alike. Yesterday I bought a little bag with items to jazz up a card at Michaels [a craftstore in the USA]. And it had the Eiffeltower with silver glitter on it!!!
You got yourself a nice breadkeeper there. Lucky you!
Also love the dolly pins.
