Swap gifts done and look at my Cheshire Cat!!!!

Have you ever seen such an adorable Cheshire Cat? Isn't he sweet!!! Thank you Susan!!!
This is my swap gift from Sue at Rabbit Hollow Prims.... she makes the cutest folk art dolls and a whole lot of other characters. My son was over the other day and he mentioned how much he likes this grinning kitty, if it goes missing I'll know where to look!!!
My swap items are finally all finished and in the mail.....Thank you Cindy for waiting so patiently. Now I have a couple of more long awaited gifts to finish and then the big "giveaway", wow, I feel good!!! Need to pace myself but it does feel great to have checked off some important items from my to do list......don't you love it when you can do that?
These are my pin dolls for Cindy, I figured I would be ahead of the game, since I was behind, to make a snowman pin for Christmas.....feels good to get these little guys done....I haven't made pin dolls before so at first I struggled to know what to do, but I finally decided to make up my own designs.....
It was really important for me to do something special for Cindy at Thimbleprims Studio. You will remember that she made me a beautiful doll and sent me a wonderful parcel full of the sweetest gifts when my one of my doll swaps fell through......and she made more for other ladies too! She is so dear and sweet for stepping in and making me feel so good, I hope she is just as thrilled when she receives her parcel. I am blessed to have her and Susan for swap partners, they have been so super! If you have a chance pop over and tell those darling girls how awesome they are!!!

These are wonderful, Margaret! I'm sure they will be loved! Yes, I do like when I can cross something off my to do list ~ even if it is a small thing it makes me feel like I accomplished something.

Someday I might join a swap - it sounds like so much fun. I love your imagination, Margaret, your little characters are so cute and full of personality. They're so detailed, too. And yes I know how good it feels to write something off your list (or getting your husband to do something you want!) Have a great day, Diane

Margaret~ it seems the only thing I've been able to get accomplished was.....getting our visiting family fed for the week, lol. We must have done okay, cause they extended their stay.

You know good things come to those who wait...your sweet pin dolls are worth the wait.
You may get me to try my hand at sewing. I've got a Tiny Taylor machine that sews a basic chain stitch. If I could master threading it...I may be able to sew up a few little projects I've put on the back burner.

I hope you're feeling better. Getting a few things checked off your to do list should help brighten the day!

Sweet wishes,
Sara

I love what you create, you are so talented. The pin dolls look adorable especially the girl doll!
I have subscribed for a craft lesson tomorrow and I'm very much looking forward to create something of my own. You're the one who inspired me to do this!

Hi Margaret, I love your pin dolls. They are so very adorable. Now you cat is so cute and I could see him or her come up missing. Isn't it funny what people get attached to. I hope you are feeling better. I just wish all of my test were over, but I just have to be patient and keep positive thoughts. I started having a problem swallowing my pills so we are going to check it out. I just take them with applesauce. They say part of it could be caused by stress, but then that little word is used a lot any more when health issues come up. You take care Your Missouri Friend.

Been a while, but I am trying to keep up on my fave blogs :)
I went WOW when I saw that sweet little pin doll, I can't believe you have never made one before and I am in awe at your talent, although I know already the talent you have, and how kind you are :)
Did you knit the little snowman? He is adorable, and the sweet bird too, your swap partner will be over the moon :)
