Hope for Haiti

ABC, CBS, NBC, MTV, CNN and almost every television station will be broadcasting a special telethon to raise money for the victims of the earthquake that devastated Haiti.
Amongst the rubble and beneath the pain, lies a heart that beats with love for our fellow man.
There is a hand that reaches out and a compassion in our souls to say, "I will help you".........

We have sent through Catholic Charities. I can hardly look at some of the pictures. This will take a long time to be resolved. God be with them and all of us.

Hi Margaret,

The plight of the people of Haiti is so sad. I heard on the news, just now that two more people were pulled from the rubble.
Every little bit helps and I really hope that the needed assistance can get to where it is needed so much.

Have a great weekend

The spirit of men and women can be so wonderful. The haitians hardly had anything to begin with and then to loose what they had. I heard doctors are in surgery around the clock.

I hope they get what they need plus comfort!

It is so incredibly sad to think about...feel so helpless! God has a plan and I pray his will will be done.

I am watching now. We will be sending money to an orphanage in Haiti next week. They need walls! There is a charity in FL that will get money direct to her. She has not seen a penny from Red Cross or UNICEF. She asks for money to not be sent to the government there. I think we should give I just like to be sure most of the money goes to the people in need.
Hugs, Lisa

I haven't watched the whole thing, but I have tried to watch some of my favorite entertainers. We have collected over 66,000.00 in donations for the Red Cross to use in Haiti here in our city. It makes you stop and think it could happen anywhere. They talk of the possibities of us having one in the boot hill of our state. It is devasting. Take care. Your Missouri Friend
