All is calm, all is bright........

After such a bad day and things not turning out, I had my rest and started again. First of all the wonderful thoughts and comments of all of you, my dear sweet blogging friends.
Second, the magazine I have been waiting for came.... thank you Erica & Sandy at The Tattered Household. I am in love.......
This is the most beautiful, elegant and enchanting magazine I have ever read!!!!!
(The postman can never know how much he made my day.......)
Then, more wonderful parcels!!!
My heart raced and I could not believe my eyes when I opened this parcel from Lynn Barron at Sea Angels.... I know I saw it when I bought it, but nothing prepared me for the sheer beauty and the incredible work of art.... Lynn, I love it!!!
Her darling hand painted linen towel is in the background, isn't it divine?

Look at Lynn's beautiful works of art, I love her delicate watercolors,
these little postcards are so gorgeous, I want to frame them.......

Look at these beautiful birds, thank you Heather at Pretty Petals!
I will show you pictures of my wreath I made from Heather's fantastic on line class. It isn't quite finished yet, I need a little something something....... you know what I mean? Heather's class was so wonderful to take, her pictures and instructions perfect and of course incredible to look at!!!

My famous Rum & Butter Tarts....... yummo!

and of course a new batch of shortbread..........

All is calm, all is bright........ thank you everyone for your kind words and good wishes.
I love my blog family, don't you?
Hugs,

Parcel from Donna!!!!

You can imagine my excitement the other day when I came home to find a parcel from my blogging friend and talented artist, Donna over at Brynwwood Needleworks. Oh my gosh, she is so talented!!! Look at this beautiful hand knit scarf with the beads, knit right in it!!! I can't get the camera up close, these pictures don't do it justice, it is stunning! Donna you are amazing!
Thank you Thank you!!! Such beautiful work!
I have never seen anything like this, the beads are knit right into the scarf, and it feels bouncy and stretchy, so hard to explain, a work of art!
There was more too, a gorgeous Lonaberger jar with a lovely charm and beautiful ribbon!
A fabulous pale robin's egg blue bookmark, I was just wishing for one!!!
There may have been chocolates, oh yes, there was, but not for long, hee hee....
Thank you, Donna, your gifts are incredible and I am so happy!!!

I tried to get up close to show you, the photos look the same but the scarf is soooo beautiful.....
