Holidays are coming soon!!!!

Last year,
 towards
 the end of
 June, the
 Dutchman
 and I ran
away to
Banff.
We love
 to go
there
 for our
 holidays.
The vacation
 in the
 mountains
 is always
 wonderful....
 the view
 is
 spectacular!
I just
 had to
 share
 these
 pictures
with you,
this time
 last year,
on the side
 of a mountain...
the
 Dutchman
 and I
 were married....

Sunday Bread Baking and Flower Making

Today was a busy
 day, first was the
 bread making, I
 like to braid my
 bread with four
 pieces. If I don't
 keep up with this,
 I sometimes forget
how to do it. so I
 have to close my
 eyes and
 remember how
 my Mother did it.....
I want to make a couple
 of handbags for my
 granddaughters
 as they both have
birthdays coming up.......
So I made flowers with
 wool and I embellished
them with vintage flowers
from an old hat and I may
 add a button or two.
 I was thinking of hanging
 some wool strawberries
from the handle.
I love working
 with wool, it is so
 forgiving and
easy to sew. It comes
 in so many colors too.
Back to the kitchen
 I go, more bread
 is ready....
Have a good
 week everyone!!!
