Holiday Snapshots

Hello Everyone, I am sure that most of us are busy little bees, working on those last minute ideas and gifts. Or maybe baking up a storm!!!! I just wanted to share some images of my Christmas decorating and gift preparations. The cross stitch works of art are my gifts from the Dutchman's cousin, Shawna, she is the most accomplished needlewoman I know. Look up close and enjoy the details in her wonderful stitching.... she is my inspiration to want to learn how to cross stitch.............

These are some little stars, decorated with sparkly earrings and notes of love..... they still need some glitter......

Beautiful pics. The cross stitch is wonderful. I tried it exactly one time. I did not have the patience it takes and the whole project ended up in the trash. It did make me appreciate the beauty of it all the more. I would love to hear more about your little dolls. You may have already posted about them and I just don't know where to look.

Works of art they are!
The detail in that Santa is amazing. I used to make crosstitch needlework all the time when I was younger. But there are not enough hours in a day since I started blogging!

Oh sweetie that stitched piece with Santa & the little bird is my favorite!!!!!!!! I used to do counted cross stitch all the time (when my eyes were younger & worked better... old age stinks) Now I am trying my hand at needle point. I will share the new canvas I am working on soon. Do you think that she still has the pattern for that Santa? And if so do you think she would share? WOW I would love to make that. Hugs & thanks for sharing these treasures! Charlene
